Willie D. "Billy" Woods

Mr. Willie D. "Billy" Woods, age 78, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mr. Woods was born April 18, 1941, in Waverly, TN, to Jesse D. Woods and Nancy Ann Buchanan Woods. He was married to Mary Jewell Scaggs Woods. He was a retired Forklift Operator for Conalco in New Johnsonville, TN. Mr. Woods was an avid fisherman and loved spending precious time with his girls and grandchildren. He greatly enjoyed watching westerns on television.  Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 26, 2019, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Pastor John Carpenter will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN.
