William "Moe" Leonard Needham

Mr. William "Moe" Leonard Needham, age 80, of McEwen, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Humphreys County Care and Rehab Center in Waverly, TN. Mr. Needham was born March 14, 1941, in McEwen, TN, to Patrick Joseph and Mattie Gladys Hedge Needham. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the Humphreys County Highway Department in Waverly, TN. Moe Needham was a proud veteran and Corporal of the United States Army. He loved his dogs, chickens, and a good ol' rooster fight! Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until Rosary Service time at 7:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Thursday, November 4, 2021, visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Patrick's Church in McEwen. Father Zack Kirangu will be officiating. Cremation will follow at Moe Needham's request, at Richlawn Crematory, our on-site crematory, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at St. Patrick's Cemetery in McEwen, TN. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Patrick's Church, 175 St. Patrick Street, McEwen, TN 37101 or Humphreys County Humane Society, 108 Young Road, Waverly, TN 37185. You may also leave your donations at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen and we will gladly forward them for you. Masks may be worn at your discretion.
