William "Larry" Lawrence Moore

Mr. William "Larry" Lawrence Moore, age 79, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mr. Moore was born July 9, 1942, in Nashville, TN, to Eulen Lawrence Moore and Elizabeth Masters Moore. He was married to Jeanette Ballard Moore. He was a member of Waverly Church of Christ and a retired Purchasing Agent for the State of Alabama. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, loved fishing, bowling, and spending precious time with his family playing board games. Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Jeff Keele will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 1818 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or to Potter Children's Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
