William Franklin Brawley

Mr. William Franklin Brawley, age 80, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at TriStar Horizon Hospital in Dickson, TN. William was born September 11, 1939, in Bruceton, TN, to Charlie Alexander Brawley and Ruby Diner Walker Brawley. He served in the United States Army 36 years and was a retired Guard at the Turney Center . He was a member of the Waverly Church of the Nazarene and he taught Sunday School at Waverly Healthcare for approximately 15 years.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 10:00 am until time of service beginning at 11:00 am at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Daron Brown will be officiating the service. Interment will be at Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.

In Lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Waverly Church of the Nazarene Building fund.

Daughter: Linda Kay McGranahan (John), Waverly, TN

2 Grandchildren: Iana(Lexi) & Makayla McGrananhan, Waverly, TN

Niece: Kathy Massey Orrick

Nephew: William Nathan  Massey, Jr. (Debbie)

Many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife:  Lillie Cooley Brawley, parents: Charlie Alexander and Ruby Diner Walker, Brother: William Nathan Massey, Sr., Sister-in-law Ivy Massey, nephew: Mike Orrick, and Niece: Linda Massey.
