Mrs. Vera Frances Louise Swenson Purdioux, age 96, of McEwen, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Mrs.Vera Purdioux was born on August 18, 1925, in Salina, KS, to Alben Swenson and Sophia Habiger Swenson. Vera will be cremated at Richlawn Crematory, our on-site crematory at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. She belonged to the Gilroy Gliders Square Dancers in Gilroy, CA.
A Memorial Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen from 2PM to 4PM.
Her survivors include:
3 children: James Burnaugh (Jan), New Port Richey, FL., Dr. Lee Purdioux, Summerville, CA., and Alexandria Smith (Eddie), McEwen, TN
5 Grandchildren: Michael, Danielle, Callie, Yvette, and Michelle
10 Great Grandchildren
2 Great-Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents Alben and Sophia Swenson.
