Velma Inez Warden

Mrs. Velma Inez Collier Warden, age 87, of LaVergne, TN and formerly of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020, at The Meadows in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Warden was born April 18, 1933, in Waverly, TN, to Thomas Alfred and Hettie Lee Carnell Collier. She was retired from Acme Boot Company in Waverly and a member of Holy Trinity Community Church in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, December 13, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Cynthia Andrews-Looper will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Wyly Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
