Thomas Murry Stribling passed away March 25, 2023 and is being laid to rest April 1, 2023 in Richlawn Cemetery.
Murry was born July 11, 1947 to Jess Vawter Stribling, Sr and Estelle Stribling and was named for Mr. Thomas Knight and his Maternal Grandfather; Murry Sykes.
Murry served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969, having been stationed in Virginia, Massachusetts, Washington and the Republic of Vietnam. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
Murry is survived by his siblings, Leon Stribling of Nashville, TN, Sally Stribling of Smithville, TN, J.V. Stribling, Jr. and wife Vicki of Waverly, TN, Susan Lumsden and husband, Lyle of Winchester, VA and Tim Stribling of Smithville, TN Murry is also survived by his sister-in-law, Midge Stribling of Henderson, KY, numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as special friend; Tonia Wiles of Waverly.
Murry was predeceased by his parents, his oldest brother, Noel Stribling, niece Jami Dreaden and nephew Jason Gaither.

Arrangements are being notably handled by Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
A grave side service will be at 1:00 P.M. on April 1, 2023. Daron Brown of the Waverly Church of the Nazarene will be saying words of encouragement for the service.
