Thomas Loys Carter

Mr. Thomas Carter, age 74, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Houston County Community Hospital.  He was born February 12, 1944 in Waverly, Tennessee to the late William Loys Carter and Stella Thomas Carter.  He was a retired truck driver for Humphreys County Highway Dept.  He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was married to Shirley Elaine Holland Carter.Survivors Include:His Wife:Shirley Elaine Holland Carter from Waverly, TN2 Children:Alan Thomas Carter and his wife Meagan of Waverly, TNMonica Joyce Buchanan and her husband Daniel of Waverly, TN2 Brothers:William Ralph Carter of Melvindale, MIRonnie Carter and wife Sherry of Waverly, TN6 Grandchildren:Austin, Aubrey, David, McKenzie , Mason and MadiIn addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Frankie Eugene Carter and his nephew Eugene "Genie" CarterThere will be a Graveyard Service on Saturday, July 28th, at 3:00 PM held at the Carter Cemetery in Waverly, Tennessee.
