Shirley Darlene Dennis

Shirley Darlene Dennis, age 59 of McEwen, TN passed away at her residence, Friday, September 2, 2022. Shirley was born in Waverly, TN on January 5, 1963 to the late Robert and Mary Durham. She was a Truck Driver for 32 years. Shirley loved being with her family, enjoyed driving her truck, attending yard sales, shopping, and attending the State Fair with her grandsons. Shirley will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Alicia Biggs (Michael) of McEwen, TN and Delilah Tomme of McEwen, TN; brother, Wayne Durham (Bonnie) of McEwen, TN; grandsons, Taylor Biggs (Chyann) of New Johnsonville, TN and Gavin Biggs of McEwen, TN; great grandson, Seth Biggs of New Johnsonville, TN. Shirley is also survived by her cat, Smudge.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Durham; father, Robert Leo Durham; her shih tzu, Gizmo and grand dog, Raven.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Luff-Bowen McEwen Chapel. A visitation will be held prior beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Richlawn Cemetery. Officiating will be William Brown.
