Scott Hallett Areson

Mr. Scott Hallett Areson, age 69, of McEwen, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN, due to COVID-19. Mr. Areson was born November 7, 1951, in Glen Ridge, NJ, to William Henry Areson, Jr. and Jane Gillespie Snyder Areson. He was married to Theresa "Terry" Marie McGuire. He attended Hurricane Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in McEwen. Scott was a retired Chef and worked part time at Dollar General Store in McEwen. Scott Areson will be cremated at Richlawn Crematory, our on-site crematory at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. No services are planned at this time. Burial of cremains will be in the Knight Cemetery in McEwen, TN at a later date by the family.
