Sara Jane Story

 Mrs. Sara Jane Story, age 81, of Waverly, TN, passed away on October 7, 2020, at her home.  Mrs. Story was born on February 23, 1939, in Cherokee County, NC, to Gordon E. Underwood and Lesalean Helton Underwood.  Jane worked as a Sales Associate at Walmart in Waverly, TN, for many years.  Everyone who knew Jane loved her.  She had a kind heart and cherished her family. She was a member of Simons Chapel Baptist Church in Cherokee, NC. A  memorial service will be held for Mrs. Story on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 1-3 PM, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Humphreys County Animal Shelter at 108 Young Rd, Waverly, TN 37185.
