Salli Louise Dotson, passed away very unexpectedly on April 29th, 2024 at her home in Waverly, Tennessee. She was only 48 years old. Her whole family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.
Salli was born in Lake City, Florida on February 26th, 1976 to Jimmy Williamson and the late Salli Bradley. She spent the majority of her childhood in Waverly, Tennessee. She graduated from Waverly Central High School in 1994. She later went on to have her three sons, whom she loved dearly.
Salli was a fun spirited soul who loved to spend her days outside. She loved to go fishing, swimming, canoeing, and spending her afternoons on the boat. She also loved getting to spend time with her family. She was lovingly called "Granny" and "Meme Salli" by her six grandchildren.
Salli is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Dotson; sons, Jonathan (Stephanie) Story of Waverly, TN, Tyler (Alora) Story of New Johnsonville,TN , Hunter (Madeline) Story of Quantico, VA; step-daughters, Skye Dotson of Dickson, TN , Payton Dotson of Dickson, TN, Whitney Dotson of Dickson, TN; and grandchildren, Joshua Story, Tye Browning, Sadie Story, Jordan Story, Remington Story, and Piper Maie Story.
She was also survived by her siblings, Melissa (Ray) Hermann of Lake City, FL, John Bradley of Waverly, TN, Brandon (Kaitlyn) Bradley of Nashville, TN; father, Jimmy (Carol) Williamson of Tallahassee, FL; grandfather, Raymond Hunt of Starke, FL; and nieces, Mary Jo Bradley, Reagan Hermann, and Harper Hermann.
Salli was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Fraser-Hunt, her nephew, Carter Bradley, and her mother, Salli Bradley.
Visitation for Mrs. Salli Dotson will be held on Thursday, May 9th from 11am to until the service time begins at 3pm at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in honor of Salli Louise Dotson.
