Raymus "Ray" Charles Binkley

Mr. Raymus Charles “Ray” Binkley, age 79, of McEwen, Tennessee, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019  at his home.  Mr. Binkley was born on September 30, 1940, in Waverly, Tennessee, to Nathan Lee Binkley and Elma Celina Haley Binkley. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at the zinc plant in Clarksville, TN.  Ray was a member of the House of Prayer in McEwen, enjoyed his tractor and farming, loved the western movies, and was a proficient expert of the U.S. Confederacy.

He is survived by his loving wife of  59 years, Shirley Kathryne Johnson Binkley.

He also leaves 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren.

Mr. Binkley is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Elma Binkley, 6 brothers and one sister.

Visitation for Mr. Binkley will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN, from 5-8PM and on Thursday, from 9AM until time of service at 12 noon. Bro. Joe James will be officating the service. Interment will be at Binkley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
