Peggy Ann Burns Hooper

Mrs. Peggy Ann Burns Hooper, age 87, of McEwen, TN, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Hooper was born September 21, 1934, in McEwen, TN, to Lonnie David and Georgia Mae Beeles Burns. She was married to the late George Clifton "Bud" Hooper. Peggy was a retired Supervisor for Acme Boot Company in Waverly, TN. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McEwen, TN. She loved spending precious time with her family, playing cards and dancing with friends and family, sewing, and crocheting. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, December 6, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen with Father Zack Kirangu officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
