Paula Jean Reynolds Cannon, age 79, of McEwen, TN, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024,
surrounded by the love of her family.
Paula was born on April 2, 1945, in Highland Park, MI, to Goebel and Alice Reynolds. After
marrying the love of her life, she settled in McEwen where she raised a beautiful family. Paula
devoted her life to her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
were her world. She was the best Mamaw to her grandchildren and was eagerly awaiting the
arrival of her fifth great-grandchild. She was a true and loyal friend to many.
She is survived by:
Her husband of 62 years, Ernie Cannon and her precious little Muffin
Daughter and son-in-law, Venita and Philip Coleman of McEwen; Daughter and son-in-law,
Vonda and Sammy Long of McEwen
Grandchildren - Whitney Coleman and Susan of Fairview, TN; Amberley Coleman of McEwen;
Tori Washburn and Cody of McEwen; and Thomas Long and Natalie of Kingston Springs, TN
Great-grandchildren - Allie Coleman, Nicholas Coleman, Brooklyn Coleman, Knox Washburn,
and Kade Washburn (arriving soon)
Brothers – Joeseph Reynolds (Mary), and Steve Reynolds
Sister-in-law – Vickey Reynolds
Many nieces and nephews
Preceding her in death were her parents, Goebel and Alice, sisters Lonnie Reynolds, Debbie
Reynolds, Annette Rudd, her brother, Lee Reynolds, brother-in-law Jim Rudd, and sister-in-law
Teresa Reynolds
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, May1, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 pm and
Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 9:00 am until service at 11:00.
Interment will follow at the McEwen Cemetery.
Arrangments are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
