Maxie Leon Gidcomb

Mr. Maxie Leon Gidcomb, age 73 of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at his home. He was born December 7, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee to Thurston Gidcomb and Rosie Armstrong Gidcomb. He was a self employed Mason.

A graveside service will be conducted at Ebenezer Cemetery on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 12:00PM. Speaker, Shirley James will officiate the service.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Simpson of New Johnsonville; two brothers and three sisters.

He also leaves 5 grandchildren: Jonathon Smith, Brittnie Gidcomb, Brandon Gidcomb, Jessica Smith, and Madison Gidcomb;  and 5 Great-grandchildren: Gaven Bohannon, Jaylee Smith, Jayla Smith, Gage Smith, and Jaivin Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurston Cleo Gidcomb and Rosie Irene Armstrong; his wife, Barbara Gidcomb;his son, Thurston Leon Gidcomb, and a sister, Judy Victory.
