Mary Frances Wanamaker

Mrs. Mary Frances Christian Wanamaker, age 73, of McEwen, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, in Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Wanamaker was born March 7, 1947, in McEwen, TN, to Earl Edward and Rose Ellen Kiley Christian. She was married to the late Roy Dewayne "Bear" Wanamaker. Mary Frances was retired from Aqua Glass in McEwen. She loved cooking and spending precious time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen is honored to serve the Wanamaker family with a limited visitation for Mary Frances Wanamaker according to COVID-19 mandates. This visitation will take place at the East entry doors at the McEwen Chapel of Luff-Bowen Funeral Home. The visitors may pass through the canopy entrance and view Mrs. Wanamaker through the East entry doors. Social distancing of six feet apart, single file, will be enforced in compliance. According to the State of Tennessee Executive Order by the Governor, no more than 10 people are allowed to view at a time and must not congregate while waiting. We encourage visitors to contribute to the containment of COVID-19 by wearing their mask and gloves, and refraining from embracing and handshaking. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 25, 2020, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation and burial of cremains will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in McEwen, TN, at a later date.
