Marjorie King Anderson

Mrs. Marjorie King Anderson, age 91, of Bartlett, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Anderson was born April 16, 1927 in Ackerman, Mississippi to the late John Gifford King and Jessica (Snow) King. She was a high school teacher and served as an Officer in United States Air Force. She married the late James Thomas Anderson and they had three daughters.  She was also a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church, MOAA, TROA, Memphis Botanical Gardens, and a 20 year Memphis Area Master Gardener.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her:

 Daughter- Linda Anderson Fitzhugh (husband Bob) of Stamps, Arkansas 

Daughter- Leisa King Anderson of Bartlett, TN

Daughter-  Laura Anderson Owen (husband Ron) of Birmingham, Alabama

Grandson- Clay Fitzhugh

Grandaughters- Katie and Marlee Owen

She is preceded in death by her:

 Parents- John and Jessica King

Husband- James Thomas Anderson

Sister- Louise King Owens

Brother- John Marion King

            Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN from 1:00 until time of service at 2:00pm, conducted by Bro. Mark Gates. Interment will follow at the Anderson Family Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN.
