Margaret Amanda Bell Triplett Hooper

Mrs. Margaret Amanda Bell Triplett Hooper, 83 of McEwen, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Hooper was born in Waverly, TN, on May 26, 1937, to Guy Jasper Triplett and Leah Winnie Smith Triplett. She was happily married to her sweetheart Archie Hooper for 68 years. She enjoyed being a wife of a cattle farmer, raised her four children with love and devotion, and friend to all who knew her. Margaret enjoyed loving on her animals, gardening, and creating a welcoming home for all whom crossed through her door. She was quick to offer a meal or glass of sweet tea.  She dearly loved her 2 dogs, Peanut and Big Red.  She retired from Acme Boot where she had several lifetime friends.

     Visitation for Mrs. Margaret Hooper will be Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 2:00-6:00 PM & on Monday, April 26, from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Pastor Kent Curtis will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in McEwen, TN.

2 Daughters: Cathy Hester (Dennis), Clarksville, TN, & Christy Walters (James), Christiana, TN

1 Son: Jeffrey Lynn Hooper, Cumberland City, TN

1 Brother: James J. Triplett, McEwen, TN

3 Grandchildren: Jeremy & Jordan Hester, & Leah Walters

She is predeceased by her parents, Guy Jasper & Leah Winnie Smith Triplett, & her son Roger Dale Hooper.  In lieu of flowers, Margaret requested donations to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund in McEwen, TN, or Humphreys Co. Humane Society (to feed the puppies).
