Leslie Jean Kersten

Mrs. Leslie Jean Meek Kersten, age 51, of Waverly, TN, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. Leslie was a victim of the great flood in Waverly, TN. She was born April 21, 1970, in Apple Valley, CA, to Dale and Nina Jean Raley Meek. She was married to Henry William Kersten. Leslie was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen, TN. She was also a member of the Rainbow for Girls. She love working in the dirt, crafting, sewing, and fixing anything mechanical including lawnmowers, washers, dryers, etc. Leslie was a Financial Services Representative for FirstBank in Waverly. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to so many. She had a loving and kind smile that will never be forgotten. Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 27, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. A Rosary Prayer Service will be Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McEwen, with Father Zack Kirangu officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Survivors include: Husband: Henry W.
