Larry and Patricia Franklin

Larry Wayne and Patricia Ann Dotson Franklin, both age 67, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021, together in an automobile accident in Waverly. Larry Wayne Franklin was born July 14, 1953, in Dickson, TN, to Everett and Geraldine Rice Franklin. He was a retired Materials Inspector for the Tennessee Department of Transportation in McEwen, TN. He was an avid duck hunter, deer hunter, and fisherman. He was a member of the Yellow Creek Bass Club and American Bass Anglers. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Patricia "Pat" Dotson Franklin was born December 29, 1953, in Dickson, TN, to Doy and Robbie Lee Metcalf Dotson. She was a retired Technician, Finishing from E. I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN. Pat loved photography, flowers, and cooking. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Larry and Pat Franklin were members of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in New Johnsonville, TN. They both were avid fans of Notre Dame Football, Duke Basketball, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, and they loved to travel. Visitation with the family will be at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, Monday, February 22, 2021 from 4pm until 8pm and on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 10am until funeral service time beginning at 1pm. Pastor Donna Parramore and Pastor Jeff Weaver will officiate the service. Burial for Larry and Pat Franklin will be in the Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly is in charge of arrangements.
