Karen Elizabeth Story Robbins

Mrs. Karen Elizabeth Robbins, age 61 of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away April 17, 2023 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Karen was born on October 2, 1961 in Nashville to Billy Story and Helen Story. Karen was a Beneficiary Clerk for American General Insurance for 43 years.  She was a lifelong member of the Compassion Church in Waverly.  She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with family and friends.

After seventeen years and two months, Mr. Benjamin Robbins, Karen's husband, gives his beautiful bride back to God.

She also leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Helen Story; one son, Zachary Lewis Story;two sisters, Sharon Griffin (Steve) and Kim (Rhea) Reasonover; two grandchildren, Brandon Patrick Jordan and Nathan Eugene Story.

She also leaves three step children, Mary Neal, Sandra Gibson, and Tommy Robbins; 7 step grandchildren and 6 great-step grandchildren.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Story.

Visitation for Karen Robbins will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM until Funeral Service time at 2:00 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. John Maples will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Concord Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Concord Church Cemetery.
