J.W. "Sonny" Lee Jr.

J.W. "Sonny" Lee Jr. age 85, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at Three Rivers Hospital. "Sonny" was born July 16, 1935 in Carrollton, Mississippi to J.W. Lee Sr. and Willie Pentecost Lee.

He spent most of his life in Louisville, Kentucky and was employed by First National Bank of Louisville. He loved to travel, garden, and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. After retiring, he moved to Humphreys County to be close to family and was a resident at Humphreys County Nursing Home. His wishes were to be cremated.

His survivors include multiple nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Lee Sr. and Willie Lee, and 5 siblings; Bernice Smith, Jack Lee, 
Mary Joyce (Joy) Stevens, Dorothy Lee, and Patricia Chatham Kennedy.

A special thank you to the staff of Humphreys County Nursing Home from the family for their love, compassion, and care for Sonny.
