Judy Ann Turner

Judy Ann Turner, age 57, of Lebanon, TN, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 6, 2023.  Ann was born in Colorado Springs, CO, on March 6, 1965, to the late James and Margaret Turner.  Ann was a waiver recipient of the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) through the state of Tennessee.  Ann advocated for the treatment of others with disabilities.   She enjoyed 80’s music, toys, dolls, stuffed animals, the beach, Hawaii, swimming and children.  Ann was also very good at Bocce Ball in the Special Olympics. 

Left to cherish her memory are her caregivers and friends, Kristie Martin (Shannon Price), Lebanon, TN,  and Kevin and Jessi Martin, Lafayette, TN; Special Friends, Jeff Roberts and Nicole Marshall;  Nieces, Sophia Snoddy, Kinsley Martin, Dixie Martin, Baby Girl Martin on the way and Ashlee Murphy; Sister Janice Murphy, Fairmont, WV.

Along with her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her special friend, Madeline Clay. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, beginning at 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM.  Interment will be at New Johnsonville First United Methodist Church.  Pastor Janice Rudolph will be officiating the service.
