Juanita Lorene Cannon

Mrs. Juanita Lorene Taylor Cannon, age 79, of McEwen, TN, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Cannon was born August 29, 1941, in Toney, AL, to Claud Ray and Clara B. Birchfield Taylor. She was married to Bobby Joe Cannon. Juanita worked for many years at Acme Boot Company in Waverly, TN. She was a retired Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service in McEwen, TN. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in McEwen, TN. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Rev. Tommy Street will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Lung Association, 1 Vantage Way #C-120, Nashville, TN 37228.
