Joyce Ann Dunaway

Ms. Joyce Ann Dunaway, age 86 of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her home. She was born December 18, 1934 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Geroge W. Coble and Iva Lillian Smith. Joyce retired from Honda where she worked as a Shift Leader. Joyce practiced the Methodist faith and in her early years, she played the organ and sang for the church she belonged to in Sycamore, Ohio. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, crocheting, dancing, singing, her friends, and Facebook!

Joyce's wishes were to be cremated. She will be cremated at Richlawn Crematory on site at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. A private memorial service will be held for the family. A celebration of life service for the public will be held at a later date.

She leaves to cherish her memory,

3 daughters: Carlene Thurman, Waverly, TN

Rhonda Cole (Bryan), Crestline, OH

Brother: George Wilbur Coble, Galion, OH

Sister: Georgetta Montgomery, Benton, KY

A very special daughter-like friend: Tamera Patrick who compassionately loved and cared for her in her final days.

11 grandchildren: Jason Andrews, Coldwater, MS; James (Chelsea) Jackson, Findley, OH; Ty (Samantha) Spath, Galion, OH; Nathan (Crystal) Dunaway, Mt. Vernon, OH; Mark Dunaway, Mt. Vernon, OH; Jermy (Valerie) Niederkohr, Westerville, OH; Dusty Heath, Bucyrus, OH; Kim (Brett) Smith; Andrea Cole; Kendra (Adam) Broadman, all of Carey, OH; and Amber (Tony) Watts, Vanleer, TN.

21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is precededed in death by her parents, George Coble and Iva Eusey, brother, Herbert Smith, her son, Timmy Dunaway and her daughter, Michelle Jackson.
