John Steven "Steve" Hurt

John Steven Hurt, age 73, of McEwen, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at his home.  He was born on September 4, 1947, in Patuxent River, Maryland, to John Jenkins Hurt & Arlene Greenwell Hurt.  He was a retired Systems Analyst for the State of Tennessee. Steve was an avid golfer & member of the Humphreys County Museum.

Visitation for Mr. Hurt will be held at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN, on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 9:00 AM until funeral service time at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at McEwen Cemetery in McEwen, TN.

He is survived by:

1 Sister: Peggy Hiett (Peter), Kingston Springs, TN

1 Brother: Glenn Hurt (Deborah), McEwen, TN

5 Nieces & Nephews: Emily Lowery (Shane), Beth Daniel (Doug), Jennifer McMinn (Josh), Bert Cording (Meagan), & Chris Cording

5 Great Nieces & Nephews: Talia, Sarah, Julie, Pace and William

Uncle & Aunt: Herbert & Shirley Greenwell

Aunt: Veronica Greenwell
