Jesse Compton Bell, age 49 of Franklin, TN, was born on May 26, 1975, in San Diego, CA, to his loving parents Ann Greff Bell and Kenneth Bell. His passing on July 20, 2024, has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. Jesse excelled in his education, earning two master's degrees, which laid the foundation for his successful career as a contractor and a business owner of many sorts. Throughout his life, Jesse was known for his kind and generous spirit. Jesse was always willing to help others before himself. He was a devoted husband to Julie and a loving father to Evan and Rachel. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished spending time with them. Outside of work and family life, Jesse found joy in the great outdoors. An avid hunter and nature enthusiast, he found solace in the beauty of being in the woods with his family and friends. Jesse was a Christian and when able he and his family would attend Brentwood Hills Church of Christ. Jesse will be remembered as an all-around wonderful man who brought positivity and warmth to all those around him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Julie of Franklin, TN, his children Evan and Rachel, both of Franklin, TN, his mother Ann Greff Bell, his father Kenneth Bell of McEwen, TN, his brothers Joe Bell (Payton) of McEwen, TN and Josh Bell of Nashville, TN, his 4 nieces, Annie, Alyson, Ellie and Brianne, as well as Mike Burns (father-in-law) and Connie Burns (mother-in-law) of McEwen, TN, and brother-in-law, Jason Burns (Rhonda).
A visitation will be held on July 25th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Additional visitation hours will take place on July 26th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM on July 26th at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen with Bro. Walt Leaver to officiate. Pallbearers will be Evan Bell, Josh Bell, Ray Howell, Kurtis Brewer, Jason Guinn Craig Floyd, Tim Tyler, and Charlie Gill. Jesse will then be laid to rest at McEwen Cemetery.
Jesse's legacy of love, kindness, and passion for life will forever be cherished by those who were blessed to know him.
