James "Dan" Daniel Baker

  Mr. James Daniel (Dan) Baker age 72 of Bold Springs, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. Mr. Baker was born July 7, 1946 in Bold Springs, TN to the late Bessie and Vincent Baker. He was married to Linda Forrester Baker for 53 years. Mr. Baker was a member of the Poplar Grove church of Christ. Dan loved the Lord, his wife, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, UT Football, fishing, and his church.    Mr. Baker is survived by his: Wife- Linda Baker of McEwen Son- Billy Baker (Angie) Daughter- Danna Baker Svanberg (Karl) Brothers- Vincent Lee Baker Johnnie Ray Baker Jerry Thomas Baker Bobby Randal Baker Sister- Joyce Ann Meredith Sister-in-law- Faye Branch Grandchildren- Brandon Baker (Meaghan) Cole Baker (Allison) Zach Baker (Graycen Lee) Ethan Baker Karly Smith (Damon Smith) Ross Svanberg Benjamin Svanberg Great-Grandchildren Elleigh, Maggie, Auree Baker Brielle Smith Magnus Svanberg Numerous Nieces and Nephews   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam Baker and Gene Baker.   Visitation with the family will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen from 10-4. Funeral service for Mr. James Daniel Baker will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 4:00PM conducted by Brandon Baker, Jerry Baker and Lee Baker.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sanders Cemetery.
