Humphreys County K9 Deputy Ciro

K9 Deputy Ciro, German Shepard, age 6 of Waverly, Tennessee. End of Watch, March 3, 2022. 

K9 Ciro served with the Humphreys
County Sheriff's Office for four years and
was certified as a patrol and narcotics
canine. He was the perfect K9 Deputy that Law Enforcement could only dream of. God broke the mold of Ciro. There will never be another like him. When Ciro reported to work, he was all business and did his job well. Ciro was a family man and loved his handler, Shaun Gary as well as Mrs. Gary and their children. Ciro was a great brother to his animal siblings at home, including the cats. He will be forever missed by his family, work family, and the community he served. 

A memorial service laying Ciro to rest, will be Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 5pm at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly for emergency services personnel and their families. The service will be lead by HCSO Chaplin Dale Caudle.

In lieu of flowers, Ciro’s family requests that donations be made to the Waverly Animal Shelter.
