Gladys Elizabeth Potter Woods

Mrs. Gladys Elizabeth Damesworth Potter Woods, age 91, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at NHC Health Care Center in Dickson, TN. Mrs. Woods was born October 6, 1928, in McEwen, TN, to Cornelius Neil and Lula Francis Curtis Felts Damesworth. She was the last living of 21 children. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Waverly. Mrs. Woods was a retired Machine Operator for Acme Boot Company in Waverly, TN. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 2 p.m. until funeral service time at 3:30 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Rick Kennedy will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
