Gladys Ovaleen Greenwell Hooper

Mrs. Gladys Ovaleen Greenwell Hooper, 94, of McEwen, Tennessee, passed away on Friday,
April 30, 2021, at Waverly Health Care and Rehab in Waverly, Tennessee. Ovaleen was born in Houston County, Tennessee on July 22, 1926. She was the daughter of William Ray Greenwell and Ida Lewis Greenwell.  Mrs. Hooper was very involved in the ministry at WPHC Radio, Humphreys Co. Nursing Home, Waverly Health Care & Rehab.  She Pastored at Bellevue Church and was a Sunday School Teacher & Youth Director at Mt. Zion Church for over 20 years.

Visitation for Mrs. Ovaleen Hooper will be on Monday, May 3, 2021, from 3-7 PM and on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the service time beginning at 11:00 AM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN.  Pastor Daron Brown will be officiating the service.  Interment will be at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, McEwen.

Daughter: Mary Dell Hooper, Waverly

Sister: Patricia Rye, TN Ridge

Daughter in law: Loyce Hooper Holland, Waverly
