George Wayne Collier, Sr.

George Wayne Collier, Sr., MSgt. (Ret), United States Marine Corps, age 70, of Waverly, TN, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2021, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Wayne Collier was born May 18, 1951, in Waverly, TN, to Dorsey Calvin and Mildred Wells Collier. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a  Retired Master Sergeant from the United States Marine Corps having served over 20 years. Wayne was a member of the VFW. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, November 29, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 12:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Waverly, TN
