George Walter Laughlin

Mr. George Walter Laughlin, age 92, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Humphreys County Nursing Home, in Waverly, TN. Mr. Laughlin was born November 14, 1927, in Saint Francisville, IL to James Walter Laughlin and Vera Grace Corey Laughlin.  He was a retired Lab Supervisor with DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN. Mr. Laughlin served in the United States Military and was a World War ll Veteran. He and his wife Donita were sweethearts for 76 years. They were married on June 10 and were happily married for 69 years.

2 Sons:

Kevin Laughlin (Connie) – Smyrna, TN

Don Laughlin – Waverly, TN

9 Grandchildren: Toni Forbess (Ryan), Cliff DeBruce, Matt Lewis, James Patterson (Leslie), Jaclyn Baker (Michael), Jessica Mallard (Chase), Jenna Kilabrew (Josh), Josh Crum (Ashley), Nathan Crum (Lexie)

13 Great Grandchildren: Reed, Knox, & Scarlett Forbess, Rowan Patterson, Keegan Florence, Kayden Baker, Keylee Baker, Kaycee Baker, Preston Mallard, Mason Mallard, Addalynn Kilabrew, Ansley Kilabrew & Mongomery Crum.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Walter and Vera Grace Corey Laughlin and one sister Jeanne Laughlin French.
