Gary Lee Curtis

Mr. Gary Lee Curtis, age 67, of Hurricane Mills, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Gary was born December 12, 1954, in Lake County, TN, to Obie Leslie Curtis and Bertha Hattie Kee Curtis. He married his childhood sweetheart and the love of his life, Teresa Kay Ragsdale Curtis, one week after their high school graduation. He was a retired Office Administrator for LMI-Tennessee LLC. He was a member and former Deacon of Immanuel Baptist Church in McEwen, TN. Gary loved to travel and GO! GO! GO! He was a grill master and enjoyed woodworking. He was a good Christian man and compassionate person. He loved spending time with his family and especially playing with his precious grandchildren. Gary requested a private funeral to be held at the farm in Hurricane Mills, where he and Kay have lived since the August 21st Great Flood destroyed their home in Waverly. Stephen Williams will be officiating the service.
