Darrel Baker

Mr. Darrel Baker, age 64, a resident of Columbia, most recently of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at his home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14^th from 4-6PM with a Masonic Service beginning at 6PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, Tennessee. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 15^th at 11AM at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in McEwen. 

He was born April 25, 1954 in Dickson, Tennessee, to Billy and Marie Baker and the late June Pruitt. He was an electrician and was the owner and operator of Darrel Baker Electric in Columbia. He served as a Mason for the George Hillman Lodge #431 in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son: Brad Baker of Waverly; daughter: Lindy (Terry) Watkins of Waverly; brother: Bobby Allen of Waverly; grandchildren: Blaine Baker, Savannah Baker, Elizabeth Baker, and Ellie Watkins; and the mother of his children: Kathy Ashton of Lynnville.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Baker.
