Danny Thomas Bates

Mr. Danny Bates, 72 of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019. He was born March 14, 1947 in Nashville to the late Burnace "B.T." Bates and Allene Parker Bates. Danny was a Construction supervisor. He married Barbara Murphree Bates and they had two sons, Heath and Austin. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Luff-Bowen Funeral home from 4-8pm and on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm. Bill McDonald will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Bates is survived by his wife, Barbara Bates

Heath Thomas Bates (Kara) Seabrook, Texas

Austin Bates (Kathy) College Grove, Tennessee

One sister:

Statia Noles (Jerry) Powder Springs, Georgia

He also leaves three grandchildren: Logann, Kendall, and Aubrey Jayne Bates.
