Carolyn Buck Asbury

     Carolyn Buck Asbury, age 91, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at NHC Place at the Trace.  Graveside services will be on Friday, June 12, 2020, at 1 p.m., at Richlawn Cemetery, Waverly, TN. 

Friends and family may gather at the cemetery around 12:30 PM to greet the family.  There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Asbury was born in Indiana and moved to TN in 1957 with her husband, for the start up of the E.I. Dupont plant in New Johnsonville, TN. 

She was a retired teacher and homemaker.  She was an active member of Waverly United Methodist Church until moving to live with her daughter in Dickson, TN.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Asbury; her son,  Victor D. Asbury; and her son-in-law, Devin Sisco.

Mrs. Asbury is survived by her daughter, Molly A. Sisco, of Dickson, TN;  granddaughters, Sydney Sisco and Daphne Merryman (Richard);  great-grandchildren, Callie Nowak, Madison Merryman, Judah Merryman, and Taavi Merryman;  sister–in-law, Anna Lou Fultz;  special daughter, Rachel J. Asbury;  and several nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Dickson First United Methodist Church, CLC.
