Ann Green Hockett

Mrs. Ann Green Hockett, age 74 of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her home. She was born November 1, 1946 in Columbia, TN to Houston Green and Martha Wright Green. Ann graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree. She was a teacher for 20+ years and retired from Lakeview Elementary School in New Johnsonville. Ann was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Retired Teacher's Association. She loved to read and loved her animals, but most of all, she loved her family.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Hockett will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville for family and close friends on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00pm. Bro. Jeff Weaver will officiate the service.

Her survivors include:

One daughter: Lydia Baggett (Mike) New Johnsonville, TN

One son: Russell Humphrey (Rebekah) Waverly, TN

Three grandchildren: Blake Lewis, Brianna Baggett, and Sarah Baggett.

She also leaves two great grandchildren: Mason and Mya Stone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Martha Green, her husband, Sam Hockett and her brother, Charlie Green.
