Aaron Richard Wofford

Aaron Richard Wofford, age 75 of Waverly, TN passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Waverly Healthcare. Aaron was born on September 29, 1946 in Waverly, TN to the late Leslie and Bertha Guthrie Wofford. Aaron enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed sitting on the porch at his child hood home reminiscing about old times. Aaron enjoyed talking to his daughters about his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also liked to frequent casinos from time to time.

Left to cherish his memory are his 3 daughters, Jan Escue (Nathan) of Gallatin, TN, Stacie Cornett (Johnathan) of Oliver Springs, TN and Jamie Douglas of Ashland City, TN; sister, Sara Lee Ladd of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren, Trevor Douglas, Dale Escue (Kelsie), Amber Hillis (Chris), Paige Brisco (Landon), Kyle Escue and Christina Landrum (Hunter); and great grandchildren, Abbigail Escue, Tayson Escue, Savannah Escue, Fysher Hillis, Emma-Kay Hillis, Ella Jade Landrum, Grayson Brisco, Kennedy Brisco, Hudson Brisco and Audrey Douglas.

Along with his parents, Aaron is preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Wofford and sister, Virginia Ann Ladd

A graveside will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN at 1:00 P.M.
