Mrs. Robbie Mae Levister Rhodes, age 84, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Rhodes was born March 16, 1933, in Martin, TN, to Cecil Lamar and Addie Mae Kilgore Levister. She was married to James Franklin Rhodes. Mrs. Rhodes was a homemaker and a member of and past Historian for the First United Methodist Church in New Johnsonville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly.
