Bobby Dickens, Sr.

Mr. Bobby Gene Dickens, age 78 of McEwen, TN passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Waverly Healthcare and Rehab in Waverly, TN. Mr. Dickens was born in Gallatin, TN to the late William Curtis Dickens and Josephine Matilda Gillihan. He was married to the late Mary Annette Smith Dickens.  Mr. Dickens was in the United States Marine Corp. He was a master welder, a former member of McEwen Masonic Lodge for 28 years, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, and a Shriner.  Mr. Dickens is survived by his:Sons- Michael E. Dickens of Smyrna, TN Bobby G. Dickens, Jr. of McEwen, TNGrandchildren- Megan & Kent Gunn of Waverly, TN W. Joshua Dickens of McEwen, TNGreat-Grandchildren- Brooklyn, Bryson, Brody, & Korie GunnVisitation with the family will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 10am-2pm at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Funeral service for Mr. Dickens will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2pm at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN conducted by Bro. Joe James. Interment will follow at Fews Chapel Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
