Hazel Anderson Rushton

Mrs. Hazel Anderson Rushton, age 93, of Waverly, TN, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly. Mrs. Rushton was born March 19, 1924, in Waverly, TN, to Robert H. "Pete" and Minnie Grace Owens Anderson. She was married to Ewell Evan Rushton. She was a graduate of Waverly Central High School Class of 1941. Mrs. Rushton was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church, the Winmore Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, and the Ladies Bowling League. Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 26, 2018, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Waverly United Methodist Church, 115 West Main Street, Waverly, TN. Pastor Thad Collier and Bro. Kevin Lofton will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
