George Edward Taylor

Mr. George Edward Taylor, age 73, of McEwen, TN, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, in NHC Healthcare in Dickson, TN. Mr. Taylor was born March 9, 1944, in Nashville, TN, to Robert Landon and Mary Kate Syvils Taylor. He was married to Helen Gill Taylor. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in McEwen, TN. Mr. Taylor was a retired Millwright for Tennessee Valley Authority in Cumberland City, TN and a retired Staff Sergeant and veteran after serving over 21 years of service in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was an avid automobile enthusiast. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 14, 2018, from 1-7 p.m., and Monday, January 15, 2018, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Rev. David Deavers will be officiating the service.
