Elzie B. Cogdill

Mr. Elzie B. Cogdill, age 85, of Dickson, TN, and formerly of McEwen, TN, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, in Dickson. Mr. Cogdill was born October 5, 1932, in McEwen, TN, to Alvie Edward and Rebecca Lucille Berryman Cogdill. He was married to Bobbye Jean Gunn Cogdill. He was a member of Pond church of Christ in Dickson, TN and a retired Housing Contractor. Mr. Cogdill was a United States Army veteran. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and Monday, December 4, 2017, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Officiants for the service will be Bro. James Wall, Bro. Jacob Drake, Robert Moore, and Corey Triplett. Interment will follow in the Bethpage Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
