Christine Vineyard Donegan

Mrs. Thelma Christine Vineyard Donegan, age 92, of McEwen, TN, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, in NHC Healthcare in Dickson, TN. Mrs. Donegan was born July 5, 1925, in Nashville, TN, to Louis Edward Vineyard and Honer Dale Smith Vineyard. She was married to Loyd Hershel Donegan. Christine and Hershel moved to McEwen on Halloween Day, October 31, 1957, and the temperature was 90 degrees! She was a graduate of McEwen High School Class of 1943 and a member of the McEwen United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 12 noon until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Pastor Joan Hubbard will be officiating the service.
