Clyde "Butch" Edward Willis

Mr. Clyde "Butch" Edward Willis, age 81, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, in Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mr. Willis was born August 26, 1935, in Old Hickory, TN, to Clyde Erwin and Villa Laffoon Willis. He was married to Shirley Moore Willis. He was a member, former Elder, and former Sunday School Teacher at Ellis Grove Presbyterian Church. Mr. Willis earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Tennessee Tech Class of 1956, loved fishing and woodworking, and he was a former Gideon. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 18, 2017, from 4-8 p.m., and Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Reverend Bill Barger of Dickson, TN will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly.
