Margaret Faye May

Mrs. Margaret Faye Smith May, age 86 of Hurricane Mills, TN passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her home. She was born in Hurricane Mills, TN on June 23, 1931 to the late William “Willie” Edward and Mary Catherine “Katie” Owens Smith. She was married to the late James Raymond “Ray” May for 56 years. Mrs. May was retired from the United States Postal Service having served as Postmaster for Hurricane Mills for 24 years. She was a member of the Wildwood Valley church of Christ, Hurricane Mills Home Demonstration Club and Humphreys County Historical Society. Funeral service for Margaret May will be Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 11:00am at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly officiated by Bro. Rick Rolin and Bro. Jeremy McFarlin.
