Hoyt Wiser, Jr.

Mr. Louis Hoyt Wiser, Jr., age 74, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Three Rivers Hospital. Mr. Wiser died suddenly from a massive heart attack. Mr. Wiser was born November 1, 1942, in Manchester, Tennessee, to Louis Hoyt Wiser, Sr. and Helen Ione Brown Wiser. He was married to Barbara Gayle Robins Wiser. He was a member of Blanton's Chapel Methodist Church in Manchester, TN. Mr. Wiser was a retired Engineer from Temple Inland, New Johnsonville, TN. Mr. Wiser was an avid outdoorsman, Strong supporter of Humphreys County Youth Sports Program, 1966 Alumni of University of Tennessee Knoxville, loves golfing, hunting, fishing, water sports with his grandchildren, and a member of the Foundation of Nashville State Community College Waverly Site. Visitation with the family will be Mon. June 12, 2017, from 11 a.m., until time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. Buddy Mullinax and Elder Kevin Lofton will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Crowell Chapel Cemetery in Scotts Hill, TN. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone who met him.
