Mr. Bill Allen “Stump” Spencer, Sr., age 73, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. Mr. Spencer was born January 12, 1944, in Tullahoma, TN, to William “Bill” and Margaret Allen Spencer. He was a member of the New Johnsonville Church of Christ. He was a retired Reaction Operator for E. I. DuPont. He was an avid sportsman and loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Spencer will be cremated and visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 3 p.m. until Memorial Service time at 5 p.m., at the New Johnsonville Church of Christ, 204 Long Street, New Johnsonville, TN. Bro. Joe Rhodes will be officiating the service. Survivors include his wife: Brenda Tippit Spencer, New Johnsonville, TN, 4 children: Bill Allen Spencer, Jr., New Johnsonville, TN , Doug Spencer (Jamie), Portland, TN, Damian Phillips (Holly), Dickson, TN, Brian McGinnis (Michelle), Erin, TN, 13 grandchildren: Spencer Phillips (Lacy), Alex Forrest (Ryan), Kane Vester, Gabrielle Spencer (Ryan), Rebecca Spencer, Lauren Holder, Lindsey Daniel (Keith), Jessica Phillips, Michael Pritzl (Nicole), Jeremy Daniel, Scyler Bales, Payton Jones, and Dalton Jones. 12 Great Grandchildren.Preceded in death by parents: William "Bill" and Margaret Allen SpencerDaughter: Amber Dawn VesterGrandson: Brandon Spencer
